3 Weeks in......

Hello,

I have now lost a grand total of 9lbs.....I am so chuffed it is unbelievable! The plan I am following is simple to follow, a shake in the morning for breakfast, another for lunch and a healthy meal for dinner! Not rocket science and its suits me at this time of my life! And most importantly I'm losing weight, which is what it's all about in the end!

So far I've lost

Week 1-2lb
Week 2-4lb
Week 3-3lb

I have also been going to boot camp with Jess, the fat destroyer!!! She is,amazing, motivating, and inspiring! I'm walking JJ for a minimum of 50 minutes a day which means that he is looking less portly too! So this healthy lifestyle is having benefits everywhere!!

Now, next week is the monthly measure to see if I've lost any inches!!!  Exciting eh!

So until next week ;0)

Never Ending Story

Hello,

Well, it has now been well over a week since this journey started and all is good, I have lost 2lbs that will never be seen again and more importantly I'm feeling Goooooood! My whole mind set has changed, my attitude is positive, which I always think is a good start for anything you do!  Also Lent has now started which means I would have given up all the crappy food anyway! :0)

This week I have tried to incorporate some exercise into each day! I've walked the dog, been for a run with the dog and I have just got home from an hour long walk with the dog and children which we all loved! I did want to start boot camp with Jess Wilson but I had to take one of the children to the doctors! So everything crossed I will start on Monday doing 2 sessions a week....I am both nervous and excited! Jess has been a constant source of support checking in on me, encouraging me, inspiring me and I am eternally grateful to her!  I will also penciling in some 1-1 sessions over the next few months to get me where I want to be!

Well ta ta for now!

Day 4.......The story so far ;0)

Well it's been 4 days since I decided to change my life!  It's sounds so dramatic but this decision will give me my life back, I have eaten must into an unhealthy state that is no example to her children.... how can I tell them exercise and eat healthy if I'm not myself? How can I set an example to my kids if I'm not living and breathing it myself!?

So, how has it been.....?

All in all its been ok, I have reached breakfast and lunch with "Forever Life Ultra" shakes using skimmed milk then I'm having a healthy meal for dinner/tea.  On the first day I had a headache, which is normal for me on any new eating plan and I ensured I drank plenty of water, the second day was higgledy piggledy as I went to Bridgend shopping with the hubby...I had a shake in the morning but was out all day so had a meal  then a,shake later in the evening, it's not rocket science and simple enough!!

What I have discovered is that I snack out of boredom rather than hunger.  Each day I have asked myself "Am I hungry?" and probably 8 times out of 10 I'm not!! So if I have been hungry I've had a piece of fruit and drank some water! Simple!

Now, the next piece of the jigsaw is to incorporate some exercise, I will be joining Jess Wilson's boot camp on Friday so will be attempting some Wii Zumba, light running and my daily job of walking my gorgeous boy JJ!

So onwards and upwards with my weight going downwards! I am in this for the long haul, this is a change for the rest of my life! So if slow and steady is how it happens then so be it...I will take whatever I'm dealt!

Well reality beckons, shopping to be done, dogs to be walked etc

Until next time ;0)
